Following three years of investigation into the claims made to the Public Protector, this constitutional structure, has issued the final report today.
During this period I have always cooperated with the investigators and did what was required of me throughout the process and this report brings an end to some of the uncertainties and difficulties that I have endured during the time.
I welcome the conclusion of the investigation and commit myself to always do my part to ensure that the remedial action is implemented and further commit myself to diligently meet my responsibilities to it.
South Africa is not a good place for whistleblowers as my own story and experience show but I am certain that this report would empower others who are as committed as I am to the fight against corruption.
