Minister of Public Service and Administration, Senzo Mchunu, welcomed a briefing by Lionel Adendorf, MD of Reputegrity Compliance and Ethics Solutions, of the Business Integrity Summit, planned for 14 – 16 October, and looks forward to the event itself and its outcomes.
“I have been kept abreast with the developments and are looking at my schedule to make my attendance possible and we are also looking at ways to ensure that the conference itself and its outcomes find their way into what we do as government, Minister Mchunu said.
The Business Integrity Summit aims to bring together 400 leaders in business, academia, civil society and government under the theme “Business Integrity: Pathway to Sustainability and Prosperity”.
The meeting also spoke about government’s plans to promote business integrity and trust within government itself and Minister Mchunu explained that a review process of what is in place and what should be in place to address integrity throughout the state is currently underway.
“I can assure you that the Sixth Administration is indeed very serious about this and building an ethical state remains one of our key priorities as announced by President Ramaphosa during his State of the Nation in June.”
